Description
We are a retired couple living on a rural property with our 9 year old pet Billy, a lively Border Collie who lives and sleeps outside.
Our 20 acres is part bushland and in the midst of protected, rural conservation zone which boasts an abundance of Australian wildlife including Kangaroos, Wallabies, Echidnas, Wombats and a multitude of native birds including the Powerful Owl.
Our small, rural community of Myrtle Creek is conveniently located between Castlemaine and Bendigo with easy access to Maldon, Harcourt, Heathcote and the many wineries and tourist attractions Central Victoria offers.
Our 2-storey home is both spacious and comfortable. Outdoors there are 2 separate entertaining areas, solar heated pool, Fire Pit, BBQ and Pizza oven.
We are a non-smoking household.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
After a year of ill health we are in need of fit and active helpers to assist us in bringing our property back into shape.
This would involve use of a tractor and other farm equipment to assist us with this project.
The help will be to maintain the exterior of the property. General maintenance includes but not limited to the use a whipper snipper to tidy garden edges, drive a ride on mower to cut grass, use a leaf blower to clean paths, use an electric hedge trimmer to trim hedges. Rake leaves, collect fallen bark, branches and sticks off the ground and prepare piles for burn-off. Wood splitting using a hydraulic splitter and stacking in the woodshed.Languages spoken
